Summer camp 2018

From July 9th to July 13th, 2018, SVSY hosted a science summer camp for young students in the Bay Area. Ten instructors taught students from 7 local middle and high schools about various topics covered in programs like Science Olympiad and Science Bowl. The lectures were accompanied by fun activities including a dissection, multiple hands-on build tasks, and even a fast-paced Science Bowl buzzer round. The students expressed their interests in science throughout the camp and seemed to have enjoyed the learning experience as a whole.
